Hi everyone!
Christmas is approaching, and I’m loving the beautiful gift sets all around!
I saw this gift set, the Lancome Hypnose Mascara Set, in the Farmers Club Christmas Beauty catalogue. It’s a gift set packaged in a shiny, light gold box with gold glitter framing the cover. Inside…
I want to start by thanking God for making evangelism so free in New Zealand :) . Compared to evangelising in other countries and back in the days (bible characters like Paul and Stephen) WE ACTUALLY HAVE IT SO EASY! These missionaries risk their lives and suffer hardship, torture and persecution on a daily basis. I think the biggest lesson I learnt during Beachie was how easy sharing really is! All I need to do is step a little bit out of my comfort zone and use helpful resources (questionnaire, Solarium, KGP) to talk to random people that I may never see again and MOST OF ALL rely on God to work his magic ;). Of course it was scary and daunting at first, because of all my fears- “What if I say something wrong?”, “What if they ask me a really hard question that I can’t answer?”, “What if it’s really akward?” etc. etc. But those fears dwindled after a few times because I learnt to rely on Him. You will be surprised how open people to talk about their beliefs and experiences with Christianity. SERIOUSLY! I remember talking to this lady for 45 mins and time just flew by… she told us about all the countries she has been to, her spiritual journey and the parts of the bible she doesn’t agree with. Even though she had set views about Christianity and did not really want to know God personally it was one of the most inspiring conversations I’ve ever had :O. I am so glad I live in a free and friendly country where there are no consequences for spreading the gospel. So let us sieze these FREE opportunities and do what we are made to do :D!!!!
